About Me
It all started on February 7th 1983. It was cold and a blizzard had shutdown Ann Arbor Michigan, except for the hospital and one Circle K gas station. My father did his best to get to the hospital, but the blizzard was too much and my father was only able to get to the one working gas station. His hope was that an ambulance could get to my mother and deliver his first son. The ambulance could not get to my parents. So a doctor lead my dad through the birthing process, over the phone inside the Circle K. It took seven hours, but my mother was able to give birth to me.
